Saturday October 7th, 9am | Incendiary Brewery, Lewisville, NC
The Lewisville Flyer (formerly known as the Bikes For Kids) will depart from Incendiary Brewing in Lewisville, NC. The routes flow across the rolling hills in Yadkin & Surry counties and the metric route crosses the Yadkin River four times.
This year the Piedmont Flyers have partnered with the Lewisville Civic Club and their partnership with the Lewisville Community Assistance Program (LCAP). The LCAP is a “joint project of churches in the Lewisville area that help people of the community who have an emergency situation, involving food, shelter, and/or utilities. LCAP strives to provide hope and healing by meeting these needs through Christian love and service for the benefit of all.”
New this year, t-shirts will be available to the first 100 pre-registered cyclists only, so register early! Pre-registration fee is $35 per person and closes on Friday October 6th at 5 p.m.
Also new for this year, the first 100 pre-registered cyclists will receive a free lunch ticket for Don Juan’s Mexican food truck!
Day-of registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Incendiary Brewing in Lewisville, NC, and costs $40 (cash or check only).
All rides begin at 9 a.m.
Bathrooms will be available at the ride start.
There will be one rest stop with snacks and fluids.
A sag vehicle will support both routes. Sag support will end at 1 p.m.
Post ride refreshments will also be available for purchase at Incendiary Brewing.
This event is rain or shine, no refunds. You must register and complete a waiver to ride. Cash and checks only the day of the event. Riders must be 18+. Helmets are REQUIRED, daytime visible lights are highly recommended.
